Promise of Mercy Annual Fund

The true accomplishment of a Mercy education is the enrichment of the whole person. Mercy equips young women with the guiding principles of diligence, team work, resilience, and purpose. As a result, Mercy girls graduate ready to take on the challenges of the world beyond 815 Convent Road and make a difference as leaders rooted in integrity. In today’s ever-changing world, Catherine McAuley’s vision still rings true:

“No work of charity can be more productive of good to society than the careful education of young women.”

– Laureen Keenan (P ’07, ’12, ’15) and member of OLMA Board of Directors

The Promise of Mercy Annual Fund is Our Lady of Mercy Academy’s yearly campaign to support our mission to educate young women grounded in the charism of Catherine McAuley. Some of the many ways it enhances the Mercy experience is by:

  • Supporting a rich curriculum and co-curricular activities
  • Providing academic scholarships and tuition assistance to students desiring a Mercy education
  • Limiting tuition increases
  • Attracting and retaining qualified, committed faculty and staff
  • Maintaining our extraordinary 90-acre campus and 90-year old building

It is our sincere hope and expectation that all members of the Mercy community will share in supporting the Promise of Mercy Annual Fund. All gifts will be gratefully acknowledged in our Annual Report. Those gifting $1,000 or more will become members of the President’s Society and will be invited to the President’s Reception. The Promise of Mercy Annual Fund is the primary vehicle for contributing to the general operating budget of the school while helping to bridge the tuition gap. Each and every gift makes a difference in the lives of our students.
